Vicente Castaño Ledezma

Professor Vicente Castaño Ledezma, a 53-year-old Spanish-American, has more than 25 years of practical and teaching experience in the global capital market. In his early years, he taught in the financial engineering program of IE Business School in Spain, and later joined Societe Generale (SocGen) and Deutsche Bank's derivatives strategy group, leading multiple cross-border equity hedging and structured product projects.

He turned to asset management in 2010 and led the team to develop a quantitative multi-factor stock selection model and ETF rotation system. Since founding Riesda, he has led the team to achieve a long-term stable return of more than 30% per year with his outstanding insights in quantitative trading, asset allocation, and risk management.

The "Alpha-12 Quantitative Strategy" he led achieved an annual return of 64.8% in 2021. The first three sessions of member practical courses hosted by him achieved investment returns of 260%, 320% and 380% respectively, and the fourth session is expected to achieve an investment return of 500%, which was widely praised by the market and academia.
